FRITZ SPIEGL
Fritz Spiegl (b.1926) studied flute at the Royal
Academy of Music in
From 1949 he was Conductor of
the Liverpool Wind Ensemble and the Liverpool Singers. From 1951 Fritz Spiegl
lectured at the Royal Manchester College of Music and became a BBC broadcaster
on various subjects. He published editions of flute music and was a successful
author of various humorous books.
