Julius Federgans
Born in Prague on 16th March 1862, Federgans studied with Ernst Jenzsch
and from 1884 to 1897 was first flute in the Warsaw Opera Orchestra and teacher
at the Warsaw Conservatory. In 1897 he travelled to Russia
where, until his death in 1920, was soloist of the Imperial Maryiinsky
Theatre in St. Petersburg.
