Mein Lieblingsrezept
Whiskykuchen
Man braucht:
2 Eier,
70 Gramm Zucker
20 Gramm Milch
60 Gramm selbsttreibendes Mehl (oder Mehl mit Backpulverzusatz)
20 Gramm Butter,
40 Gramm Sultaninen
eine Prise Zimt
2 Prisen Ingwer, fein gehackt
3 Prisen Chili, fein gerieben
4 Löffel Currypulver
1 Flasche Whisky
Man sage, "Ach nein!

My favourite recipe
Whisky cake
Ingredients:
2 Eggs,
70 grammes of sugar
20 grammes of milk
60 grammes of self-raising flour
20 grammes of butter,
40 grammes Sultanas
a pinch of cinnamon
2 pinches of ginger, finely chopped
3 pinches of chilli, finely rubbed
4 spoonfuls of curry powder
1 bottle of whisky
(The above proportions can alter considerably during the preparation process, see below!)
Take the eggs, drop one on the floor, swear, take a slug of whisky and fetch another egg from the fridge.
Beat the eggs. See that eggshells are still in there. Say "blow and blast!" and pass the beaten eggs though a sieve. Take another slug of whisky.
Slip, because you forgot to wipe up the egg you had dropped and take another slug of whisky to calm your nerves.
Beat the butter, eggs and sugar together. Take half of the bottle of whisky. Take care! This time the golden liquid should go into the mixture, but you could also keep a little drop for yourself if your nerves are not yet calm.
Put the other dry ingredients into the bowl. Say "Oh no! I read the bit about curry powder wrong, it should only be a pinch!" and take another slug of whisky until the room stops spinning round so fast.
Look at what's left in the bottle and decide to finish it off
Meanwhile throw the spoilt mixture into the rubbish can, slam the door and walk in a somewhat wobbly fashion along the road to the cake shop.
The above recipe also works for brandy cake, mutatis mutandis.
