Story behind the piece:

Duet for cello and classical guitar, written in memory of a very short-lived but intense affair with a cellist, so short-lived that I had to get another cellist to play it!

The major seventh theme of this piece also appears in my setting of Verlaine's poem Ariette Oubliée No 4 (Il faut, voyez-vous nous pardonner des choses)
