inmitten Bachgeriesel.
Wisst ihr,
weshalb?
Das Mondkalb
verriet es mir
im stillen:
Das raffinier -
te Tier
tats um des Reimes willen.

War nun voller Sorgen
Für’s kleine Dörflein Horgen
Wisst ihr
Weshalb?
Das Mondkalb
Hat’s uns gesagt
Ohn’ Denken
Der Schulz hat sich
Gewagt
Das Weinglas vollzuschenken
Doofpoesie
Ein Dichter
Verurteilt vom Richter
Kommt erst dann auf den Trichter
Wisst ihr
Weshalb?
Das Mondkalb
hat’s ihm geraunt
verdrossen
Der Schlechtgelaunt’
erstaunt
sich über seine Possen.
Duftpolster
Die Oma
Wie in einem Koma
Summt „die weisse Paloma“
Wisst ihr
Weshalb?
Das Mondkalb
Hat mir erklärt
Ganz träumend
Der Opa fährt
verkerht
nach Süden jeden Heumond.
Dramaprinzessin
Ein Mädchen
Sass in einem Lädchen
Mit einem langen Fädchen
Wisst ihr
Weshalb?
Das Mondkalb -
Es weiss es nicht!
Die arme
Hat ein Gesicht:
Es bricht
In Tränen aus, nicht Charme
Dichtenpanne
Ein Mondkalb
Sass auf einem „weshalb“
Auf der hohen Alb
Wisst ihr
Warum?
Sei nicht dumm!
Ich weiss es schon
Das Wiesel
Kriegt nicht den Lohn -
Sein Sohn
Sitzt jetzt auf seinem Kiesel!
