On Saturday 3rd February 2018 my Freilach was performed at the Iowa Flute Festival by Nicole Esposito, Jeiran Hasan and Fluter Scooter.

On Sunday 28 January 2018, at 2 pm, The Philadelphia Flute Quartet played my Chinese New Year Celebration as an encore at the St William Concert Series, 6200 Rising Sun Avenue, Jenkintown, Philadelphia.

On 8 December 2017 at the Calliope Music Store, Ardmore PA the Philadelphia Flute Quartet performed my Chinese New Year Celebration and my arrangement of Away in a manger.

On November 12th 2017, the Billington and Gonzalez Duo (flute and guitar) live in concert at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Palmetto Bay. 11/12/2017. 4:00 pm. “East Meets West”. A concert of Western and Asian fusion. Works by Shankar, Brustad, Miyagi, Fukushima, Kyle Chuah, James Ross, and David Solomons. My piece was Kichijiro.  (Earlier video)

On 5 November at 3.00 pm an “Autumn Serenade” concert was held at:

First United Methodist Church, 167 S. Ripley St., Alpena, Michigan  49707,

during which MaryAnn Hubbard (flute), Cynthia Atkinson (cello) and Andrea Arbuckle (piano) of the Alpena Symphony Orchestra performed my trio “The grass is growing in the field of ash”.

On 21 and 22 October 2017 In the United Reformed church in Leeds and the German church in Bradford, the Singkreis included my setting of Psalm 23 (using Martin Luther’s translation) in the services.  Video

The Kings Park Flutes performed, among other pieces, my arrangement of Stormy Weather (1933) by Harold Arlen & Ted Koehler. They will be performing it again shortly at a Senior Centre in Alexandria VA.           

At the Eucharist on Sunday 8 October 2017 the choir and congregation of All Saints with Holy Trinity in Loughborough premiered my Communion Service. It was well received and is expected to become the regular setting.

On August 5th at the Alberton Heritage Centre, Mt Albert, New Zealand, the guitarist Bruce Paine performed a concert called Starlight and Memories, which included my Twinkle Twinkle Variations. A previous recording he made of the piece can be heard on his CD Coming out of the Fog.


The Recipe (based on Shakespeare’s 3 witches) for flute choir, complete with special effects and witches’ hats, can be enjoyed on this video of Flutissimo’s performance recorded in August 2017


In two concerts in Philadelphia in July 2017 Thomas Meany and Michael Simmons (flute and classical guitar duo) performed my “Details” -  Video of the rehearsal


The Octava Chamber Orchestra included my arrangement of Joe Dillon Ford’s Gate of Paradise (Gate of Heaven) among other pieces by members of the Delian Society on 22 July 2017 in their Summer Concert at Edmonds United Methodist Church 828 Caspers Street Edmonds, WA 98020

On 20 June 2017 the Budapest Scoring choir under Peter Pejtsik performed my Hoc est enim corpus meum - in English, French and German

In May 2017 the Budapest Scoring choir under Peter Pejtsik performed my setting of Psalm 23 (Der Herr ist mein Hirte (The Lord is my Shepherd)



Petra Schwarzl (guitar) and Konstantia Loibner (clarinet) performed various pieces of mine including Petticoat Lane and Perky Blues

The Angelo State University Woodwind Quintet presented a public concert on Thursday, April 6 2017, in the Eldon Black Recital Hall, Carr Education-Fine Arts (EFA) Building, 2602 Dena Drive, San Angelo, TX 76904.

This included my “Thalia’s Rag”.

The Woodwind Quintet is directed by Dr. Jeff Womack, associate professor of music.

The Appalachian Treble Choir and Guitar Orchestra, 8 p.m. April 25 2017, Rosen Concert Hall, Broyhill Music Center

The choir’s selection included David Solomons’ “Moonlight on Sea”


The Nationalhymne von Rheinbergen (National Anthem of Rheinbergen) was recorded by Budapest Scoring in August and September 2016 (versions for baritone solo, choir and karaoke (ie just orchestra to sing along with).

was performed by The Fluteview (Viviana Guzman, Fluter Scooter and Alice K. Dade) in Half Moon Bay, California, on 10 July 2015 and in the San Diego NFA [National Flute Association] in August 2016.

Freilach  was also performed at the CSEHY on 7 July 2016 by Angela McBrearty, Martha Alford and Michele Gordon

and by students of Katharina Schröter in Stuttgart (and later Paderborn) during late 2016 and 2017.
